What's a lash lift actually do?
How long does it last?
It curls and lifts your own natural lashes right from the base, so your eyes look open and awake without a single coat of mascara. No extensions, no glue, no maintenance. Just your lashes, but better. Add a tint and they go darker and fuller too.
About 6 to 8 weeks, which is basically your full lash growth cycle. As your lashes naturally shed and new ones grow in, the lift softens. Then you come back and we do it again.
Does it hurt?
Is it safe for my lashes?
Not even a little. You lie there with your eyes closed the whole time. Most people are so relaxed they nearly fall asleep on me.
Yes, when it's done properly, which is the whole point of having someone who knows what they're doing. I'm not over-processing your lashes or leaving solution on too long. Done right, your lashes stay healthy.
What do I need to do right after?
Can I wear mascara?
This is the important part. Keep them dry for 24 hours, so no water, steam, sweat, or tears. That means no hot yoga, no crying at a sad movie, no scrubbing your face. The lift needs that time to fully set.
You can, but here's the thing, you won't want to. That's the whole magic. If you do wear it, skip the waterproof kind, it's a nightmare to remove and the rubbing isn't great for your lift.
Anything else I should skip?
Don't rub or pick at your eyes, and go easy with oil-based cleansers and eye creams right around the lash line, they can loosen the curl faster. Sleep on your back the first night if you can.
How do I make it last?
Treat them gently, brush them with a clean spoolie, and a lash serum keeps them strong and conditioned between visits. Honestly it's such a great summer service. You wake up, swipe on some gloss, and you're beach ready.
